We're currently unable to award different amounts (ex: $1000 in the Fall and $950 in the Spring) to one student

One of my colleagues reached out to support (case# 017518478) as an administrator at our University was trying to award $744.95 using the award period fall 2019 and $2,250 using the award period Spring 2020. The system is only letting her do one or the other and she doesn't want to use Fall 19/Spring 20 as this only splits the amount in half.

Our IT team worked out a way to award uneven amounts through an administrator question. If anyone wants that info I'm happy to get it to you. We're a banner school, so our fix will be specific to that software

UCLA desperately needs this, because with monthly, quarterly, and semester disbursements, it would be too unwieldy to have 12 (one for each month) award periods for each portfolio-we have over 2,000. Can you imagine how long the pages would be to display 12 award periods for each scholarship?!? Much better to have one iteration for each year and the customized disbursement schedule be available on the awarding screen.

I've been asking for this enhancement for over 3 years, along with the ability to add what we call paycodes (number codes associated with disbursement schedules).

This would be incredibly helpful for the Foundation of WCC in awarding our scholarships. To be able to award Fall and Spring amounts within the same opportunity as individual awards would streamline our process and keep all the necessary information together.

Yes! UMBC would love this feature! We currently have to clone each opportunity and make a Spring option available for administrators and I agree, it clutters the system. It also requires some additional manual work to make sure that the awards amounts are applied correctly. This feature would be a HUGE help for us!!

Appalachian State is also interested in a functionality that would allow us to specify term amounts. Our old scholarship portal allowed us to customize awards this way and it was extremely beneficial. Cloning and creating renewals for cases like this is extremely cumbesome and clutters the system

UW-Madison is interested in this request as well. We have many scholarships that are split unevenly and while we currently have the users create multiple opportunities, this functionality would be easier for the student to understand and for reconciliation of the funds at the end of the year.

This is something Virginia would love to have as well! We award different amounts by term all the time and right now I've created two portfolios to handle that - one spring and one fall and I can't use award amount in the communications as I've only turned the communications on for the fall (I don't want two notifications going to the student).

Yes - this would be a huge, HUGE, help for me. We award the same student the same scholarship all the time and now I have to create renewals and/or clone. This would be a great feature.
