Recently, we saw some confusing situations in the Student App where students were being recommended opportunities that are closed. After chatting with BAM, we've come to understand that Portfolio Visibility impacts both the public website (PWS) as well as the Student App.

In our opinion, there there is no benefit to displaying applications that a student is eligible for but are closed - we think it clutters up the Recommended Opportunities page and confuses students who are wondering why they can't take action on something they've matched to. We suggest that Visibility is reconfigured to allow for PWS visibility and Student App visibility separately, ensuring that even visible apps no longer appear after they've closed in the Student App.
