UW-Madison has had many conversations with Carrie Goldberger regarding system performance / speed/ processing time. Overall this is an enhancement request to improve the experience of the opportunity administrators when completing their work in Blackbaud Award Management. The most notable delay is when a record is updated (e.g. award made or category updated), there is a delay in seeing this information updated in the grid views or having the encumbered amounts updated. The desired end state is the opportunity administrator completing setup and awarding without having to wait for the system. Currently the experience is there is frequent pausing to allow the system to update.

I see this was moved to "Planned". Hopefully it will be implemented soon. We're experiencing 48+ hour delays with review committee assignments. Our review window is short and this issue has our administration rethinking Blackbaud entirely. It's been incredibly inefficient.
I agree with the importance of this upgrade, specifically when it comes to awarding. If an administrator is awarding Auto-Match opportunities using a Conditional Application, they will often sort the applicant scores from high to low and then go through one-by-one in Award Mode to select an award for the top applicants. Once they make an award for a student, then go back to the Conditional App grid and refresh, it doesn't look like that student is actually receiving an award for quite a long time. This makes awarding Auto-Matches via a Conditional App very difficult unless you are also using an Excel sheet as a shadow system in another window.
