Ability to enter negative fund balances to opportunities OR automatically convert them to $0.

Currently, if a fund has a negative balance and gets loaded to the Opportunity Details (in Opportunity Amount and/or Fund Period Amount), then it turns the negative into a positive. Example: if I load -5,000 it will save as +5,000. This can cause a lot of confusion because a student will be awarded a fund that actually has no money. I would recommend if a negative balance gets loaded that at the minimum the system converts it to $0 or even gives an error when it's loaded. It would be preferable for the actual negative balance to be displayed.

    Can you tell me a little more about why you'd like to see negative fund balances in the Award Management system, rather than uploading $0 to indicate there is no funding available that period? I'd love to learn more about this scenario.
