Similar to references, the reviewer score for an applicant would be populated into all assigned reviewer groups. I believe this would require a universal scoring rubric if an institution wanted to go in this direction. Similar to having an Auto Match or Apply To option, you may have to make a similar designation on the reviewer tab.
This would reduce the number of time a single reviewer has to score the same applicant because they applied for multiple scholarship opportunities.

Hi Wendy, thanks for your thoughtful reply! I think a call would be helpful for understanding the full context behind this request. I'll send you a separate email to coordinate a time.
Thanks!

Hello Carrie,
We review applications on the opportunity level, however scores are based upon general application and conditional application information. So we could create a uniform scoring rubric which would include several elements.
However, because we award at the opportunity level, and donors look for different characteristics, we would need a way, to extract only the elements that specific donor is looking for in order to determine applicant ranking for that specific opportunity.
In addition, some donors want responses to questions or for an applicant to submit an essay which is part of that opportunities scoring rubric. Could we create a way, were elements of the uniformed scoring rubric could be pulled into the opportunity rubric and then have the reviewers score the additional donor elements, in order for applicant ranking to be completed.
The way I see it:
Uniform Scoring Rubric automatically transmits to all opportunities the applicant applied for
Opportunity Scoring Rubric identifies donor elements to score applicants on (i.e. GPA from uniform scoring rubric; response to donor question opportunity specific) Recipient would be determined by only these two scores.
Most of our donors have the same scoring rubric, so I see this would be helpful for the review committee to have the ability for scores to automatically transmit. However, we must remember, ranking must be based on donor requirements and some of the donors have additional questions that need scored before a ranking can be made. This is key to ensure the proper student receive the scholarship.
Thank you for your help. Please feel free to call as we are discussing very fine points in the process. I believe we can make this work and help our review committees but in doing so we have to stay true to the desires of our donors.
Kindest Regards,
Wendy Akins

Thanks, Wendy! Are you all reviewing at the General or Conditional Application level? Does this request apply specifically to reviewing at the opporunity level?
