Nickname field be added to Academic Works to accommodate HACC's policy for providing students ability to utilize preferred name

HACC has undertaken a project in an effort to make our systems comply with SGP 507(copy attached).  In the first phase, we are working to make student and faculty facing computer programs display the preferred name for any student who has gone through the formal process of requesting a preferred name with the Registrar.

    Thanks Michele!

    If you're collecting their preferred name, either through a data import or a question on the General Application, you can set that field to be their display name. That can be set up under Site > Settings > Content.

    Would that work for what you need? Would everyone have a value for the 'preferred name' field?
