We would like to see "must not be present" added to the possible qualification conditions. We have run into a few situations where this qualifier would be very useful.
Example: We import two years of FAFSA information. Ideally, we want to be looking at data for the upcoming academic year, but it's not always available depending on the timing of selection for certain awards. If an award requires a student to have financial need based on FAFSA, right now we have to qualify that upcoming need must be greater than zero OR current need must be greater than zero. This results in students who have need in the current year, but no longer have need in the upcoming year appearing as qualified, when really they shouldn't be. In this situation, we would want to qualify that students' upcoming need must be greater than zero OR current need must be greater than zero and upcoming need must not be present.
Example: Some of our scholarships for incoming freshmen that require students to be in the top x% of their high school class. However, there are many schools that don't rank anymore. Some donors have agreed to allow a minimum GPA and ACT/SAT score if the applicant's high school doesn't rank. Ideally, we would need to have one qualification group based on percentile rank is >= x and another HS GPA >= x, ACT/SAT score >= x and percentile rank must not be present. Currently, we have to ask the student if their high school ranks and then we qualify on that question so that we don't have students who don't meet the rank qualifying based on their GPA and test scores.
