Currently they show the full awarded amount and how it will be disbursed over the future terms. So basically, what they want displayed to the student is what we can see internally on the awards page where the award projections are displayed. See . below and attached from his email and let me know if you need further clarification.

When the student accepted it back in the Spring of 2016, they easily saw they were getting $28,000 and how that would pay out. I log in today, I see and can mentally confirm I was paid in past semesters and that I’ll get $3,500 each semester through Spring 2020.

Note: It is possible they lose the scholarship because of GPA at some point.

Seems like in AW, I would see an additional $3,500 card appear each semester (past semesters payment card accruing in the paid out section). Perhaps the details of the number of iterations (8 in this case) are buried in the details, but it has a different visceral feeling. IE: I initially only see one card with $3,500 on it, and in the details it says it is for 8 semesters. Where as our current system SCREAMS $28,000!!! WOOO HOOO I’m rich! --- Well that’s an exaggeration, but hopefully you see what I’m saying.
