Client runs reporting and when an admin fails to assign award period, this throws them off. It's not even an issue of archival - they know they can go back to assign award period on application afterward, but it's a matter of going back and not knowing right away which award period it should be. So it's a matter of convenience - they'd like for the admin to be notified (pop up window or text similar to when award amount is over opp amount) when they do not enter award period when extending offer.
