They are times, when making awards to students, that they find out that the student will not be attending UNT. However, by the time they find this out, they've already archived (cycle management) the opportunity, and are unable to change the award to rejected.

Currently, they have to wait for the renewal opportunity (in the Spring) to pop up to Cancel the renewal. However, they would like to cancel the original opportunity award, so that this renewal application doesn't take place (and then having to cancel it).

What they would like is a way to remove or reject an award for an opportunity that may have been archived. Currently, they are leaving the previous cycle opportunity out there until they know for sure the student is attending. They would rather just be able to archive it during cycle management (in August) as they regularly do.
