I created a hidden opportunity for WVU that they want to automatch and award from but they do not want the student to see any information.  In testing, I created a hidden custom automatch category that encumbers funds to manually accept on behalf of the student by the OA.  Post-Acceptance is not on for this hidden opportunity.  

It would be nice if there was a toggle, to tag a category as "final awarded" similar to moving an applicant to "accepted" without Post-Acceptance on, systematically moving the applicant to "Awarded".  Currently, I had to create two categories which could be confusing to the user.  I created a hidden automatch "accepted" and a hidden post-acceptance "awarded" to ensure the fund disbursements grid was accurate.  If left in the hidden custom created "accepted" the student stays in pending review in the fund disbursements.
