It is great to see the “Encumbered Funds” and the “Encumbered Applications” fields in the Auto-Match Applications grid. The grid also includes the “Available Funds” field. While this field may be useful the first time we begin matching to fund the Tier 1 opportunities, we think the “Remaining Funds” field may be more useful. For example, see "fund attachment" from Fund information on the Portfolio details.
The BB&T Presidential Scholarship Summer 2016 Opportunity started with $88,888.00. After matching the funds to 19 applicants, there is a balance of $44,888.00 (see attachment 2)
In the Auto-Match Applications Grid using the Process Opportunities view, it will be more useful to see the “Remaining Funds” instead of “Available Funds”.
As an opportunity administrator, I want to see the "remaining funds" in the applications grid so that I know how much money I still have available to award.
