I have disabled all other award periods except "Aid Year 2018" but there is any way to default the award period to “aid year 2018”.

The Dean has to select this award period even though there is none other to select other than the systematic "none".  

From James at Miami, problem for Dean:  In testing the deans access to recommendations, she will have to take the extra step to always choose this award period, even though there are no other options.
