Would like the initial descriptions to copy into the future renewal template when turning on settings

Renewal show with a blank description as when you turn on the settings, the description does not copy from the initial opportunity.  It would be nice if it did and they could change it if needed after if different.  Most times they are not different and when in the "Applicants" award mode, users cannot hover over the "i" icon and see the renewal description which typically houses the qualifiers unless this has been loaded.  Initial awards are not always set with qualifications to go off point if it is a hand selected group that has been force applied so they refer to description and review the application details.

    ULM would like this functionality as well. Currently there is no way to mass update descriptions into renewal templates.

    Although that column is on the Renewal Import CSV it does not actually copy descriptions into the templates it creates.

    This keeps coming up - that there is no way to get descriptions into renewal templates en masse. You literally have to paste them into each renewal template one by one.

    In most cases copying the initial description to the renewal template would be good enough, at the time of the initial upload, but although that column is on the Renewal Import CSV it does not actually copy descriptions into the templates it creates.

    In other cases it would be good to be able to mass add different descriptions to renewal templates.

    Current client wants different descriptions in her renewal opportunities, since the criteria is different each year.
