Client has been getting a lot of feedback from students that are confused because they can't find open scholarship opportunities and think they are doing something wrong. It's not clear for students what opportunities are available in the future and when those opportunities will open.
Client thinks It would be nice if on the applicant portal, the start date is displayed, instead of blank or "none." Students don't always think to hover over "none" to see what action is needed. Currently, there is no way for students to see the date that each scholarship opens.
They also suggest that it would be great if the scholarship listing was sorted by open scholarships, future scholarships and then ended scholarships. Now, students have to scroll past the ended opportunities to find scholarships that haven't opened yet.

Another client (DCCCD) would like to see more information columns, like those related to renewal information, to make clear to confused students that the $250 might be per semester, available for 8 semesters, etc, rather than just the award amount; or to add that as an available field that displays (not the description) when clicking into the opportunity. Their feedback is that the award may seem less desirable to students without knowing that the award is renewable.
Also agree that having None appear to indicate they should complete the GA, especially when the wording and i icon are gray are not intuitive to encouraging the hover over. For applicants who have completed the GA, there's a helpful apply button with the date.
