Switch Award

This is an existing feature in our system. Here’s how it works:

User assigns student Scholarship A for $5,000 for Fall/Spring. Student accepts the award, typically a generic scholarship name (i.e. Law School Scholarship). Later, the user will “switch” the award from Law School Scholarship to the Cammy Scholarship, typically a named scholarship with funding associated with it. The student does not have to re-accept and the user can take care of it behind the scenes.

We think this would be really helpful in cases where our users are offering general scholarships to incoming students (i.e. Law students, Business students, etc.). This way, they can make their offers up front, get the acceptances, and worry about who actually matches to which fund on the back-end later on.
