Merged I have had 5+ prospective clients request texting capabilities so they can more efficiently communicate with applicants. Since "students no longer use email" they would like to send them notifications on when the application opens and other period...

This would be a marvelous feature. Our students prefer text over anything else and often say they don't check their email.
Krysta Brubaker at Colorado Mountain College would also like the ability to text users reminders. They say that it is harder to reach applicants via email and texting would be quicker and probably more actions taken in response. Reminders include to submit/complete applications before the deadline or check in on references to submit.
