When you add qualifications to a scholarship, the system will forecast how many applicants would match to that scholarship. However, you don't know WHO those applicants are. It would be great if you could click on that number and the system pull up a grid (or produce a report) of the students who would be matches.
The client often wants to know more information about the students they are about to match, without having to recreate the quals in the General Applications grid. They also may decide to email these students about the scholarship opportunity they would be qualified for, in the case of an apply-to.

Appstate would appreciate this enhancement
Pepperdine University - agrees this would be very helpful.
Winona State University would also like to be added.
See similar use case from merged enhancement from JMU. They want to target particular students for particular Apply To opportunities, so they want to know which students meet the basic criteria before they send targeted emails asking them to apply.
SFSU would also like this enhancement. They would like a feature enhancement to be able to generate an auto email to those general application matches to inform them that they are eligible for this specific scholarship and to apply OR generate a list of the applicants.
Please add Salisbury University to this request. Michael Elliott would like to be able to go directly to those applicants instead of having to filter the grid.
I'm putting a vote in for Indiana University system again because it keeps coming up as they roll out to additional campuses. Their focus is mainly on apply-tos because they want to be able to reach out to applicants who have not applied yet.
It's also important to them because if applicants' imported data changes while the apply-tos are open, we currently don't have a means of notifying applicants that based upon their new import data that they're qualified for additional apply-tos. Being able to get a list of applicants would allow them to do the outreach applicants.
Please add Indiana University to this enhancement.
Additionally, has this been reconsidered for apply-tos? If the system is already querying a list of applicants based on the qualifiers (to come up with the number of gen app matches) and all "matches" or applications are virtual until some action is taken, would it be less of a strain on the system to fully expose that list of qualified (but not yet applied) applicants?
Please add Northampton Community College to this request. Their issue is that they would like to be able to see how may applications would be matched during the initial setup of their qualifications (during implementation) so they know whether they should broaden the quals or narrow them. They of course would like this for both automatch and apply tos. Thank You!
Please add uwosh (University of Wisconsin Oshkosh) to this feature enhancement. They have a huge number of Apply To opportunities and in her words "We have some scholarships that are very difficult to give out. It is so helpful to be able to see the number of general or conditional app matches on the qualification tab of the scholarship opportunity. It would be amazing if you could click on that "15 general app matches" and see the general application grid filtered to match that scholarship's criteria. Now we have to do that manually and then we are able to pass along the list of names and emails so that the department administering the scholarship can email the students and encourage them to apply."
Additionally, the qualifications forecaster is only truly useful if there is a significant number of applications in the system. For most non-CUUI clients, the point at which the forecaster is able to provide helpful information is midway through or at the end of a cycle. (essentially, it's not able to be used during implementation, which when clients make the biggest decisions about qualification criteria)
