I was talking to Scholarships INC. this morning and we came across a great idea that I think would be very beneficial for universally every admin.
In a conditional application, you have two categories "Drafted" and "Submitted". Having just these two categories have made it difficult for admins to truly see why applicants didn't finish their conditional application. Currently, "Drafted" applications are used for those applicants that did start and DO NOT start their conditional applications. This can cause an issue when an admin. is trying to find where the breakdown is as to why the applicant didn't finish. Did the applicant simply not move forward after the general application? Or did they move forward and simply not finish the conditional. Adding an additional category can help the admin cater to the needs of their applicants.
Solution: Perhaps we can use language that we already use for Post acceptance (Pending, Drafted, Submitted) This will ensure the admin knows exactly where the breakdown was.

UW-Madison is still interested in this. It would help us identify the students who were not awarded from any of the associated auto-match opportunities.
An 'Auto-Draft' category would be helpful on the Conditional Application.
Keith Brown from wisc would also like this feature. He also requested this at the General Application level as he is using CUUI and drafted General Applications are automatically created as well.
Indiana (IU) would also like to see this as well. They have a conditional that is used for special/honors scholarships, and it would be helpful to see who truly started and didn't finished versus the current situation of Drafted being a catchall.
They also will consider drafted students in particular cases, and now it's difficult to easily identify this students in the system because you have to go question by question and see who has all blanks and see how has some blanks.
Bailey Pointdexter would like to have this feature as well. "I need to add an "Interview" category (visible to admins and reviewers only with no award effects) to the conditional application level."
Paula Halvorsen at MNSU would also like this.
Terrific idea!!! 2 Thumbs up.
