Problem: Client needs to download two different documents uploaded by Reference Providers: The first is the letter of recommendation. She is also using a Reference Questionnaire to request that guidance counselors upload transcripts (foundation, no import).
Something like the new download functionality for applicant-uploaded documents would be great here.
Newly Live Client not on drop-down list yet: Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH

IU would like this same functionality for several reasons. The main reason for this ability is for those campuses/departments that conduct blind reviewing on opportunities that include recommendation letters. For this opportunities, OAs must download the letters individually and then manually redact the letters and re-upload them for review. The ability to mass download these documents would eliminate some of the time required for this manual process for them.
Another reason would be to more quickly check for compatible file types.
And finally, some of our users would like the ability to read the letters offline rather than having to log-in to view them.
Please see similar request from CSULB in the merged enhancement. They are specifically asking for a way to download questionnaire scores and reference responses. See description below -
"As far as I can tell, there is no way to download reference responses to questions or a breakdown of rubric scores. It would be great to have the ability to see this information in a grid and pull as a report."
WISC would also like the ability to mass download the files uploaded by reference requests.
coloradomtn would also like to be able to do this
This would also be helpful for Wesleyan because they need to capture and file all parts of students' applications to their Summer Grants program. Students have to request 3 different "references" through the process, and right, getting the info out of the system is quite cumbersome.
KU would like to see this because they have donors that like to be a part of the scholarship process, but they are not the most technological savvy. KU believes it would be helpful if they could download the reference information en masse and send it over to these donors.
Virginia Tech https://vt.academicworks.com/su would like this functionality as well. Their internal processes require them to download all application data to their servers every cycle, and they'd like for reference questionnaires/file uploads to download in mass when running reports. Thank you!
Jerry Ameling just requested this as well so one of their users could read them offline all at once.
Just wanted to update and let y'all know that Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA) is still wanting this ability. Here is his specific use case:
"I can’t think of all the reasons I requested this, but one reason was this: We were having issues with reference providers submitting files that weren’t compatible with all of our reviewers’ software/computers. As such we thought it would be handy to download all the files and then be able to do a quick scan/search to find those file types and address them rather than manually check each application’s reference letter one-by-one."
They actually want to be able to print out or save the transcripts. They use the reference letter functionality to request transcripts from high schools. They have no import.
Why would they need to download reference letters en masse? I would assume to print, but why are they printing reference letters?
Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is also requesting this in ZD ticket 53050
